Space Engineers Sound Block

broken image

There is no limit to the number of logic chunks you can use. Each logic chunk consists of the logic type, the in-game Space Engineers block it applies to, and the in-game block's data. A logic chunk that starts with IF logic is called an IF block or an IF logic chunk. A logic chunk that starts with DO logic is called a DO block or a DO logic chunk. The first problem is that sound blocks are exceedingly unreliable. 'playing' a sound has about a 10% chance to work, be it manual, timer, or button activation. 90% of the time, you can hear the sound start to play for like a tenth of a second and then just stop, and you keep pressing the button, and it does that, until after like the 10th.

Space Engineers is a Sandbox, Building, Space, and Multiplayer video game developed and published by Keen Software House. The game supports co-operative, multiplayer, and single-player mode and takes place in an open world sandbox environment described by exploration and creativity. The core gameplay starts with the player choosing or partaking in a world with unique settings, including the number of asteroids and starting equipment. When building a land, different advanced choices are appeared to modify how the player will interact with the world and how the worlds will look like. In the game, the player is offered control of a single astronaut and a variety of tools containing a drill, a grinder, and a welder. Construction will start by selecting any block from the inventory of Engineer and placing it in an open space environment to create a new grid. Further blocks can be included in the grid to build a building. Each available block takes up a different amount of space and also can serve a structure, aesthetic purpose and interactive. Space Engineers includes prominent features, immersive gameplay, and detailed graphics.

I tend to not write bug reports as I don't like running the risk of seeming uneducated, but these two problems have plagued me for metaphorical centuries.

The first problem is that sound blocks are exceedingly unreliable. I use Space Engineers as a way to create and write stories, and make lots of adventure type maps, so this one in particular has been quite stressful for me. I can provide video of this bug if it is requested, but I do not believe I am the only one with this problem as I saw it reported many eons ago, but nothing was done to fix it.

Piecing me together summary

The second problem is, despite your 'fix' (ie, making it so turrets on the same grid cannot deal damage to said grid, and the option in the advanced menu), Turrets do still damage the same grid they are on. I have witnessed many a turret blow holes in the ship and blow off other turrets while trying to attack an enemy.

Space Engineers Sound Block Not Working

There are a lot of bugs for a game that is in Full Release, but these two are by far the most annoying to me.

Let me know if I'm actually just a peanut brain.
